Blake Straus is multi-instrumentalist (guitar-keys-bass specialist) / multi-genre producer, award winning composer, music director + performer based in Los Angeles. He is a musical Swiss Army knife in the room and can adapt to any situation.
Blake has releases with artists like Khalid, Kehlani, Blxst, Roddy Ricch, YG, Tory Lanez, Lil Yachty, Sevyn Streeter, Fridayy, UMI, Why Don’t We, Fousheé, Xavier Omar, Russ, Duckwrth, Syd, Bankroll Hayden, Hayley Kiyoko, Kyle, Kyle Dion, JELEEL!. and more.
In conjunction with his work as a producer/writer, Blake is an award-winning composer/arranger, music director, and performer who has worked with acts like Halsey, Demi Lovato, V of BTS, Yungblud, Michael Bublé, Queen Naija, Blackbear, Madison Beer, Stanaj, Skylar Grey, and many more.
Blake is also a music educator and private instructor to a vast celebrity clientele throughout Los Angeles and beyond. He’s been teaching since he was 16, well before receiving his degrees in both Jazz Performance and Composition. As a private instructor, Blake takes great pride in being able to easily communicate musical concepts to students on all facets of musical development.
